Thursdays, 10:30 am at Henry Cowell State Park

We walk on Thursdays at 10:30am at Henry Cowell State Park. We meet at the Hwy 9 entrance, just a few blocks from downtown Felton on Hwy 9. Park on the side of the road, and meet us on the bridge, just inside the entrance. We wait until 10:45 before we leave.

We walk on the road to the park, and then inside on the dirt path through the Redwoods. It is quite lovely. People come in with strollers, Snap N Go's, Baby slings, and sometimes a combination. People usually walk for about an hour. Some of the younger babies need to stop more often, and there are always a few moms to hang out with.

Fridays, 10:30am on West Cliff Drive

We just started meeting on West Cliff Drive on Friday mornings. It seems that meeting at the Lighthouse works really well, so that will be our meeting place for a while! Meet us there at 10:30am and join the walk! We generally head toward Natural Bridges, so if you are late, you can park down the way and catch up with us!

Tuesday Lunch and Walk - NEW in 2006!

New in January 2005: For those of you who are in the Friday Mom's group at Sutter, we are setting up a lunch and walk on Tuesday to replace the Friday walk.

Starting in the new year we are going to meet at places throughout Santa Cruz county for lunch and then walk nearby afterward. This way, we have more time to meet up with the group at a location before we leave for the walk. We will meet for lunch at/around noon and leave for a walk around 1:30, giving us plenty of time to eat and talk.
